All of their sandwiches are available to order as lettuce wraps which should make them safe to eat. They’re also really good about changing gloves and putting a barrier down when making them if you ask. š

Summary
Jimmy John’s does have all of their sandwiches available as lettuce wraps which is nice, but we wish they made the effort to provide a gluten-free bread option.
I wish they had Gluten Free Bread too!!! Its not that hard, they already change their gloves when they make their unwich, so why not have GF bread or rolls,
We have one that just opened up in Los Alamitos and I would love to them. But I want a sandwich not a unwich………

Hey Randall! I agree, I used to love eating at Jimmy John’s until I had to start eating gluten-free to literally save my life. I would go there all the time if they had a gluten-free bread option.

I agree. It difficult to find places that offer gluten free bread/rolls. This is 2023. More people are finding out the have gluten sensitivities or celiac. Please offer gluten free bread and expand your customer base and get back the customers you have lost. Sandwiches donāt taste the same wrapped in lettuce. Iām not coming there for a salad. Thank you

I completely agree. Jimmy John’s really needs a gluten-free bread option. Jersey Mike’s, Schlotzsky’s, and Chick-fil-A are some good alternatives.
They need gluten-free bread as an option!!! I ate there regularly until I was diagnosed with celiac disease they lost a regular. I miss their food!
I’ve been wheat/gluten free off & on for several years now. Back on track and will try to stay GF for the rest of my days. I’m not diagnosed celiac, but am sensitive to gluten, I feel.
Anyhow, I remember back some years ago, when Jimmy John’s roast beef had gluten it, but that’s changed now and they claim that their roast beef is GF. So happy, and on my next cheat day, I’ll be venturing over to enjoy my favorite sub made by JJ…the Gargantuan Unwich, with added avocado spread, of course. Yah! I can’t wait.
